Review & Description
*This bike was used as a test bike for a featured review in VeloNews Magazine. It is in good condition with minor blemishes and wear. The new Tommaso Diavolo Carbon Cyclocross Bike comes with plenty of testing and thought behind its spec and design. Tommaso’s own product team got out and raced, rode and suffered to make this bike. It is a labor of love and blood and Tommaso came up with the perfect bike. The Diavolo attacks the trails, roads and race courses with racer-favorite SRAM Rival components, solid Kore Gradient wheels and Tommaso TRS handlebar, stem and seat post. The Tommaso Diavolo will provide miles of dependability and excitement whether commuting or racing. The carbon 12K Diavolo is a fast and stable carbon devil loaded with great spec at a price you can’t afford to miss. The Tommaso Diavolo was featured in the November 2010 issue of VeloNews. You can see the feature here: The Tommaso Diavolo in VeloNews Cyclocross is a tough sport and the engineers at SRAM understand this better than anyone. Look at the pits of the local cross race and you will see SRAM on most of the bikes. Tommaso went for the Rival group because it delivers performance race after race. The carbon Rival “Double Tap” shift levers are paired up with the Rival front and rear derailleurs. Putting all of this great technology in motion is the SRAM Rival OCT (Open Core Technology) aluminum crank with cross specific 46/38 chainrings. The cross gearing is lower so you don’t get bogged down in the sand or deep grass but leaves enough for applying the horsepower on the finishing straight away. Other Tommaso Diavolo highlights include the light aluminum Tommaso TRS handlebar, stem and seatpost. These components are light, strong and built to last. Shallow drop bars are a cross standard and the seatpost is a double bolt for great adjustability and strength for the dismounts and remounts. Read more
